This page provides information on Settings tab in Render Setup window.

Overview

Settings tab has global settings including displacement and texture settings. Settings tab is available in Render Setup window.

Settings tab consists of several rollouts:

Authorization - View and edit license server information.
About V-Ray - Displays V-Ray version number and a Feedback Program settings button that allows you to change your participation status in the customer feedback program of Chaos Group.
Default displacement - Settings for displacement materials that do not have a Displacement Modifier applied.
System - Overall settings for various operations of the V-Ray renderer.
Tiled texture options - Settings for cache behavior related to textures.
Preview cache options - Settings for the VRayProxy preview cache.
